VOCAL

Our year-round music program, in collaboration with CalArts, offers free, private 30-minute lessons in piano and voice for individuals of all ages and skill levels. From beginners to advanced, we welcome all to our inclusive class. Our talented students showcase their skills at public recitals held at the Watts Towers Campus in the spring.

CalArts CAP Master Class: Rufus Choi

CalArts' Community Arts Partnership (CAP) program celebrates 20 years with 20 master classes taught by renowned visual and performing artists. Yamaha artist and pianist Rufus Choi held the first master class at Watts Towers Arts Center. More information: www.calarts.edu/CAP

CAP PIANO AND VOCAL PROGRAM

All youth students participating at the WTACC are expected to work 10 hours per school year (October-June) in the GARDEN STUDIO GALLERY. They will be exposed to gardening, harvesting, and general care for plants and animals. Special days will be designated for these activities. Dates are to be announced.

Gloves and Water will be provided. Please dress preferably in long pants and clothes that closed-toe shoes.
